Can I install a Level 2 charger at my home?

In most cases, yes. A Level 2 charger needs a dedicated 240-volt circuit, and the deciding factor is how much spare capacity your electrical service has. We start with a power audit of your panel and service, then recommend the right path — a dedicated circuit, load management, or an upgrade — so you get real charging speed safely.

Do I need to upgrade my electrical service?

Not always. Many homes have enough spare capacity for a Level 2 charger, especially when we pair it with load management or a smart splitter that shares power between your charger and the rest of the home. If your service is genuinely maxed out, we'll show you exactly what an upgrade involves and quote it as part of one flat price — we'll never sell you an upgrade you don't need.

Can you install a charger indoors and outdoors?

Yes. We install chargers in garages, carports, covered and exposed outdoor locations, and parkade stalls. Outdoor and exposed installations use weather-rated equipment suited to Okanagan summers and winters, and we route and seal everything so the finish is clean and protected year-round.

Can you supply the charger?

Yes. We install CSA-approved chargers from leading brands including FLO, Leviton, Grizzl-E, Emporia, ChargePoint, Autel, Wallbox, Schneider Electric, and Tesla. Based on your vehicle, panel capacity, and budget, we'll recommend the right unit, supply it, and handle the full installation and configuration.

Can you install a charger I've already purchased?

Yes — as long as the unit is approved for use in Canada and suitable for your electrical system and installation location. We'll confirm that during the assessment, install it to code, and test it with your vehicle. If it turns out to be unsuitable, we'll explain why and offer a compliant alternative.

Can you upgrade my electrical panel?

Yes. Panel upgrades are one of our core services — we replace undersized or outdated panels so they can safely support a new Level 2 charger, and anything else you add down the road. We handle the full scope, from the upgraded panel to permitting and inspection requirements, quoted as one flat price.

Can you install surge protection for my EV charger?

Yes, and we recommend it. A whole-home or dedicated surge protector shields your charger, your vehicle's onboard electronics, and the rest of your home from voltage spikes — worthwhile protection for a device that runs for hours at high power. We can include it in the original installation or add it later.

Do you handle permits and safety requirements?

We complete installations in line with Technical Safety BC requirements and current electrical standards, including applicable permit requirements. You don't need to navigate any of the paperwork — we take care of it.
